Summer certainly was lovely. Anytime we can get 30 days in a row of Seattle sunshine, count me in! The festivals were great. Outdoor adventures were abundant. Alas, Mother nature has flicked the switch, and Autumn is here. No worries. Autumn colors are arriving too. There are harvest festivals, mazes and pumpkin patches to explore and enjoy! Say goodby to the Mariners, as their year winds down. It was a respectable season and brings hope for the future with all the young talent.

Say hello to Seattle Seahawks football! They are a much improved, tough and physical football team under coach Pete Carroll's leadership. It looks like the NFC West is making a comeback, with Arizona, San Francisco, Seattle and even the St Louis Rams showing some early prowess in games.
